Bookings

The motel reserves the right to cancel bookings without notice where no valid credit card has been registered. Photo and credit card ID may be required at check in.

Children

One child under 2 years is permitted to stay free of charge when using existing room bedding or your own foldable cot. We have a cot that is available to book. All children 2 years of age and above are included in the maximum occupancy for your room. If you have more guests in your room than the maximum occupancy allows, your booking may be cancelled without a refund.

Unaccompanied minors

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide current photo ID, when requested on check-in.

Our reception is open from 2-6pm.

After hours assistance

The on-call manager is available 24/7 on 02 6423 9510.

Check-in

Check in is strictly from 2pm. We do not offer an early check in service. If you are arriving after 6pm you will be sent a text message with instructions to obtain your key after reception has closed.

Check-out

Guests must check-out by 10am. A late check-out of 12pm is available for an additional fee of $50.

No smoking or vaping

Please be respectful of others who do not smoke or wish to inhale second hand smoke. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in rooms, on balconies, in the pool and BBQ area, or in non-designated areas of the carpark. A cleaning fee of $500 will apply for smoking inside rooms.

Designated smoking area

Smoking and vaping is restricted to the north-west corner of the carpark where this a table, chairs and ashtrays for your convenience.

Lost property

Whilst we try our best to reunite you with your lost property, we can take no responsibility for items that you may leave behind. If you wish to have your lost property returned to you there is a $20 handling charge in addition to any postage costs incurred.

Guest behaviour

Any guest not respecting other guests and/or property will be asked to leave and refund will not be given. Any damaged to the property will be charged to the guest. In addition, you will also be charged the daily tariff for the number of days the rooms is out of order while repairs are made. Any services that were not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account and may be charged to the same credit card which was used to pay the account or the credit card that was provided at the time of booking.

Payment

Payment is required prior to or upon arrival.

Cancellation

We offer different cancellation policies which you are able to choose at the time of booking. Please read the cancellation policy carefully before making your booking.

If you make a non-refundable booking under no circumstances will your booking be refunded.

Parking

All vehicles must be parked in their assigned bay. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. The Pelican Motor Inn does not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the motel property. If a vehicle is left on the motel parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the motel, the motel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

Cooking

Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by Health Authorities, with the exception of the use of the kettle, microwave and toaster provided. Fees for additional cleaning may apply should guest cook inside a guest room.

Quiet hours

9pm – 8am are quiet hours at the Pelican Motor Inn. We are not a party venue – go to a pub or club if you want to make noise! Televisions, voices or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. Guests must not congregate outside rooms, on balconies or in the carpark during quiet hours. Please be respectful of other guests and our neighbours. Guests not adhering to quiet hour guidelines may be asked to leave the property without refund.

Pets

With the exception of Sight and Hearing assistance dogs, all pets are strictly forbidden inside guest rooms and on motel property. Any guests breaching this rule will face immediate eviction without refund and a $200 cleaning fee for carpet and any soft furnishing effected.

Pool and BBQ

The pool and BBQ area is available to guests from 9am to 8pm. The pool is closed for swimming from 1st May to 30th September. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the pool and BBQ area.
